Destination

She glanced at the sky with hope and a heavy heart, searching for answers to questions she didn’t know how to ask: a meaning for the things that barely mattered and solutions to problems as unpredictable as life itself.

She could see the grey veiling the bright sky, a beautiful dispersion of light imitating fog, creating a mist of nostalgia for those long-gone days when being happy didn’t feel like a task.

Watching the clouds drift with the wind, never rushing, never questioning where they were headed, a thought crossed her mind. Was it so important to have a destination? Was moving with the flow not enough? Was there even a particular destination at all?

Maybe she didn’t need to find her way just yet. Maybe it was never about resisting the current of things, but about acceptance and letting things simply be.
